Part 27 ARNAV...

“Hello…” Arnav said. 

In no time, Khushi’s eyes pooled up hearing his voice. She bit her lip controlling her sob.

“Hello, who is that?” Arnav asked. 

Khushi was sure that it was Arnav. 

“Hello, Hellooooo… I think it’s a wrong number…” Arnav disconnected the call. 

Khushi closed her eyes. So, Vinesh was not Arnav. Arnav had not lost his voice. Vinesh was playing a drama. 

Not only Vinesh but also her mother and brother. It was not hard for her to understand why. They would do anything for money. So, they were playing their cards with her for money. After all, Vinesh was a millionaire. But why Vinesh was doing this? She didn't know. 

She looked at the phone and got stuck. She squeezed her eyes and looked at the phone sharply to see Arnav’s DP. He was smiling in the DP gorgeously. He had connected his phone number with his Google account. So his photo is displayed. Khushi was surprised. He was the same man who used Arnav's perfume and her father’s watch. She recalled Bapita’s words about Arnav. 

*Anyone would fall in love with Arnav at first sight. He has those kinds of features. His face, eyebrows, eyes, everything is attractive.*

She smiled looking at his photo. Yes, anyone would fall in love with him at first sight. His face, his eyebrows, his eyes, everything was attractive. She looked at him forgetting herself. 

She kissed his photo. That was when something kicked her mind. That meant Arnav knew her whereabouts. Yes, he smiled at her in the jewellery shop. He followed her to the coffee shop and looked at her sternly. Then, why didn’t he talk to her? Why didn’t he tell her that he was Arnav? Why didn't he try to talk to her? Why did he let Vinesh roam with her? What was wrong with him?

She thought something and again called Lavanya. She attended the call. 

"Tell me, Khushi"

"Lavanya, I want you to do me a favour"

"Anything for you"

"I want you to meet Payal but she should not know I sent you"

"Okay, what do you want me to ask her?" 

"Just enquire about me and Arnav then ask about Akash."

"Is everything alright, Khushi?"

"No, Lavanya, nothing seems right here. Everyone is playing around me."

"What do you mean?"

"When I got my EYE operation, Akash said Arnav met with an accident and brought me to Mumbai. I was introduced to a man on the hospital bed with a band-aid on his neck"

"Neck?"

"Yes, they said, it was because a big pipe fell on his throat and he had a very little chance of getting his voice back"

"Then?"

"He got his voice back, but his voice didn't sound like Arnav's voice"

"Oh..."

"The very next day, a couple came to the hospital and claimed him as their son"

"Really?"

"Not only that, they are multimillionaire... The man on the hospital bed was the only heir of five hundred crosses"

"Is Arnav a multimillionair?"

"No..."

"But you said they claimed Arnav as their son..."

"Yes, they claimed... But he was not Arnav..."

"Why are you confusing me, Khushi?"

"I already doubted him because he didn't have a single feature like Arnav. Today, it got clear that he is not Arnav."

"How?"

"I dialed Arnav's old number. He attended it..."

"Did he talk in the same voice?"

"Yes..."

"How it's possible?"

"Everything is possible for a multimillionaire..."

"Why did they do it?"

"I have no idea..."

"How your brother and mother are silent?"

"Silent? No way, they are trying hard to make me believe that Vinesh is Arnav"

"But why?"

"It's because he is a multimillionaire, 

"What the heck?"

"Not just heck, but yuck... I feel like vomiting..." Khushi said furiously.

"What are you going to do, Khushi?" 

"I don't care about my mother and brother. I know they are greedy. I know how to handle them. I will teach them a lesson for sure... My question is, why Arnav is silent?"

"He would not have known about their drama. If he had known your whereabouts..."

Cutting her,

"He knows..."

"Whaaat?"

"Yes, I saw him two times. He is following me..."

"But why?"

"That's what I want to know. I hope Payal would have known the reason. Meet her and FLATTER Akash..."

"What the hell are you taking? You know well your brighter doesn't deserve to be flattered.

"Yes. That's why I want you to flatter him. That will make Payal angry and she will tell you something about Akash. Who knows, she may start scolding Akash in anger"

"What an idea!" Lavanya laughed.

"Be careful. Payal should not know about our plan"

"But Khushi, if you directly talked to Payal, you will get to know more information I suppose."

"No doubt I will get to know the whole scenario but Payal may blur the truth to Arnav" 

"So?"

"I don't want it to happen"

"But why?"

"How dare he let me be in confusion! He came closer to me, applying his favourite body spray, and making me a jerk. Then left the place stylishly, smirking. Then he came in front of me wearing my father's watch gifted by me..."

"I think he wants you to identify him"

"Why can't he just come to me and say he is my Arnav? He knew very well I would identify him if he spoke... Why doesn't he do that?"

"I'm confused..."

"I too...like hell..."

"Ok, I will meet Payal tomorrow and make her spill the beans"

"Take Preeto with you if she is free"

"She will make herself free if she gets to know this drama..."

"Thanks, guys..."

"Thank us after we complete the mission"

"Ok..." Khushi chuckled

"Bye..."

"Good night"

Khushi disconnected the call. She took Arnav's number and looked at his photo lovingly. She gritted her teeth. 

"I'm not only my mother, brother and Vinesh, I'm angry with you too. I will slap you for not talking to me... Idiot..." She pouted angrily.

Deleting Arnav's number from Garima's phone, Khushi kept it back.

On the other side,

Aman saw Arnav tossing on the bed not getting sleep. 

"What happened ASR? Don't you sleep?"

Arnav sat on the bed.

"It's too hard to be away from Khushi when she is in front of my eyes"

"But you are hinting her something du time..."

"I feel bad for doing that Aman. Every time I hinted at something, she became confused. Poor she..."

"You should not taken Akash's challenge..."

"I didn't take the challenge to prove myself... I want Khushi to prove herself. It's just a matter of a few minutes for me to win the challenge, but I want Khushi to win. I want her to make our love win. That would be the biggest blow to Akash and Vinesh"

"What about Khushi? She will definitely get angry with you for putting her on fire"

"I have no choice other than facing her anger, Aman"

"It's confirmed that you are going to get beaten up..."

"I will gladly get beaten up if it's Khushi who beats me up..." Arnav smiled.
