Arnav stood looking at Akash sharply.

“How did you lie to your sister? Did you think about her? How will she live peacefully if she gets to know the truth? Won’t the truth prick her heart? What kind of brother you are? Will you do anything for money? How cheap you are to lie to your sister…” NK shouted.

Akash pushed him hard.

“Yes, we lied to her. We lied for money. So what? Who will give us Five crores? Will you give it? This world is revolving around money only. Arnav also went abroad to earn the same money. What will you do without money? As a brother, what’s wrong if I want my sister to live like a queen? Will you say it’s wrong? Yes, she will feel betrayed, and will get angry with us, but will be alright later”

“She will not… she will never be alright. What do you think of Khushi? What do you know about her? You are talking about YOUR reality but Khushi’s reality is something you can never understand. She will never forgive you for lying to her. She will hate for betraying her. She can never forget me. She will die without me” Arnav said wrathfully.

“This is too much, Arnav. Don’t think superior about yourself. If Khushi’s love for you is true, she would have sensed that the man in front of her is not Arnav…”

“Didn’t she sense it?” Aman interfered.

“No…”

“Don’t lie… I heard her denying her calling him Vinesh but only Arnav.”

“Of course, she doesn’t want to change his name because she thinks Vinesh is Arnav. She will start calling his name when she gets to know he is not Arnav” Akash said without regret.

“ASR, why are you talking with this moron? Go and talk to Khushi. She will kick him out of her life for being selfish” Aman said irritatingly.

“What about you? Are not you selfish?” Akash asked Arnav.

“Me?” Arnav folded his hands.

“Yes, you... if you are selfless, you won’t ruin Khushi’s life. You will consider the lavishing life that was waiting for her. If your love is true, you will let her live like a queen”

“She won’t like to live like a queen but in my heart…”

“Bullshit… if your love is true, why doesn’t she identify Vinesh is not you?”

“She will definitely do it soon. What will you do then?”

“I bet… she will not sense it… until she hears your VOICE”

“Oh, really?”

“Yes, if your love is true, make her identify you without talking to her… I mean, without letting her hear your voice. I challenge. You can’t do it. My sister will live her life with Vinesh happily because she will also understand, that money is power… money is everything”

Arnav shrank his eyes with a smirk teasingly even though he didn’t like what he said about Khushi.

“If she sensed you are Arnav without hearing your voice, I agree your love is true”

“ASR, he doesn’t need to agree your love is true. Just ignore him and call Khushi… everything will come to an end” NK said furiously.

Arnav showed his palm asking him to be calm.

“Today is Monday… the next Monday Khushi will be with me. I won’t let her hear my voice but, she herself will ask me to TALK…”

Akash gulped down hard.

“ASR…”

“Wait Aman, Akash talked too much. He accepted openly that he was selfish. There is nothing to think more than that. I have no necessity to prove him MY love but… I want him to know Khushi’s love. I want this idiot to know how deep her love is. I can bet. She will sense me without hearing my voice. Let’s go”

Arnav started NK’s bike. He sat behind him. They left the place. Akash stood looking at them. He could not understand what made Arnav so confident that he just took only ONE week time. What would he do without talking to Khushi? How could the man know about the deep love, who left his girlfriend without minding about her feelings?

Akash came inside and searched for Khushi. He smiled at her.

“Bhai, how is Payal? Why doesn’t she talk to me?” she asked.

Akash was horrified although he expected the question.

“I don’t want to tell you about it Khushi but I have no choice”

“What happened Bhai?”

“We broke up”

“Whaaaat? But why?”

“She doesn’t like I shifted to Mumbai”

“For this simple reason, she broke up? Give me your phone, I will talk to her”

“No Khushi… it’s over… we both talk limitlessly. It won’t stick again”

“What do you mean it will not stick? Is this what your love is? Shame on you guys. Don’t call yourself my brother. This is silly. Do you know the meaning of love? It should be like our breath. We should die if we can’t win. That’s true love”

“Khushi, there are many things between me and Payal that you can’t understand. What do you think of me? Do you I'm a guy who cut off my relationship easily? When I’m ready to do this much for your love, how could I break up my love without a reason? Just think about it”

“No… I will not think… Without hearing Payal’s side, I won’t conclude. Payal is not a girl who breaks other’s hearts. I know her…”

“Khushi, I warn you. this is my relationship. I have no necessity to continue with the girl who insulted me”

“Insulted you? But why?”

“Khushi, you are my sister. I can’t tell you everything”

Khushi frowned.

“I don’t want to talk about it again. Vinesh's family is fully set to fix your wedding. Get ready for the big day of your life instead of thinking unnecessarily” Akash left the place.

Arnav was sitting silently, listening to Aman and NK’s scold.

“This is highly idiotic, ASR. Akash intentionally touched your EGO by talking about her sister’s love for you. he knew you wouldn’t react if he talked about your love”

“Mine and Khushi’s love is not different, Aman. Our love is the same. I can’t see that separating”

“What if she doesn’t sense you? What will you do?” NK asked.

“She will… if she doesn’t, I won’t mind losing the BET. I will tell her the truth because I can’t lose her”

“Then why the hell are you doing this?”

“To satisfy myself…”

“What do you mean?”

“I really want to see if Khushi senses me…”

Aman and NK looked at each other.

“I want to see confusion in her eyes… I want her to give tough time to Vinesh and Akash due to the confusion”

“Are you going to keep her in confusion?”

“She will get rid of her confusion as much as she identifies me”

“But…”

Cutting him,

“Her brother challenged me, Aman. He said Khushi would not sense me and would accept life with Vinesh. Do you want me to accept it?”

“What are you going to do? What if Akash again changed his house?”

“He can change his house but Vinesh could not shift his property worth Five hundred crores. I will follow Vinesh… it will be easier than following Akash”

“What do you mean YOU will follow? What will we do then? We are on medical leave. Don’t forget it… we will also be with you”

“Thanks”

“What’s next?”

“I’m going to meet Khushi tomorrow”

“But…”

“I won’t talk to her but she will sense me”

 

The next day

Arnav was waiting for Vinesh with Aman and NK. He saw his car coming out of his residency. They followed his car. His car headed to Lal Baug. He stopped the car in front of GH. They didn’t get close to them and waited. They saw Khushi getting into Vinesh’s car. He took Khushi to a jewellery shop. Arnav smirked inwardly. he knew buying jewellery for Khushi must be Akash’s cheap idea.

Vinesh took her to the Diamond section. Arnav noticed one thing, Vinesh maintained a distance from Khushi. That made him smirk.

Arnav moved to them and stood next to Khushi. She looked at him, raising her head and jerking. Arnav looked at her with a slight smile. A sudden restlessness spread in her face. She looked at his face with an unknown expression. Arnav walked back smilingly. He knew she was confused. Why wouldn’t she be confused if she sensed the same smell that helped her to identify Arnav when she was visually impaired?
