 Part 31 Shocking Truth

“Whaaat? Are you pregnant with my child? Do you want me to believe it? Could you say I’m the father of the child?” he laughed.

“How could you laugh like this after ruining my life? You acted like loving me sincerely… said, you would give five per cent shares of your company to my father. Made them trust you… but you are a cheat. Marrying me, you sold me to a rich man for one crore. My parents trusted you. I loved you like anything but what did you do? You sold me… made me sleep with many men…”

“I have no time to hear your cry… abort the child and marry someone” Vinesh was supposed to cut the call but stopped hearing,

“Do you think I would cry like that?”

Vinesh frowned.

“I think your mind is blocked. That’s why you didn’t think how I’m talking to you…”

Vinesh widened his eyes.

“I escaped from your men…”

“No way… you are lying… it’s an iron ring. No one could come out of the circle…”

“Oh really? Ask your men and get confirmed...”

“How did you escape?”

“Why would I tell you that? To tighten that way also? So that no one will get a chance to escape from your men?”

Vinesh sensed her raising anger.

“Akshara…”

“Shut up… you bloody bas***. You have no right to tell my name. I’m not going to leave you and your men. I won’t let you play with any women from here on… I will leave Kolkata only after finishing all of you”

Akshara disconnected the call. Switching the mobile off, she kept it on the railway track and waited until a train ran on the mobile. She came to the Victoria Terminus of MUMBAI, covering her face with a burqa.

 

In the meanwhile, Vinesh called his men in Kolkata. He received the call.

“Where is Akshara?” he asked.

There was silence on the other side.

“Tell me, where is she?”

“She escaped…”

“How the hell it happened?”

“We don’t know how she escaped. She had no strength to even take a step ahead. We can’t understand how she escaped”

“I don’t know what you will do. She should not step out of Kolkata” Vinesh shouted, unaware of the truth that she left Kolkata long ago and came to Mumbai to finish his chapter.

Garima opened the door and saw a girl standing.

“Who are you?”

“I’m a beautician. Give home service… if you are interested, I’m ready to do it half rate… ”

“Oh, I see… Khushiiii…” Garima called her.

Khushi came out.

“She is a beautician. Do you want to do a facial?”

“I’m not interested” Khushi said without thinking.

“Aunty, could you get me water?” The girl asked.

“Yeah, one minute…” Garima went to the kitchen.

The girl came close to Khushi and whispered,

“I need to talk to you about Vinesh… please, understand. Otherwise, he will ruin your life”

Khushi looked at her frowning.

“What do you mean?”

“I will tell you everything… please…”

Garima came with a glass of water and handed it to the girl.

“Amma, shall I do my hair cut?”

Garima smiled nodding yes.  

“Shall we?” the girl asked.

Khushi nodded yes. She wanted to know what the girl would say about Vinesh. She was curious because her work would become easier if she got something useful from the girl.

“Shall we go somewhere” It’s because I would switch the fan off while cutting hair”

“You can go to Khushi’s room. I will clean it after you are done…” Garima said.

Khushi took the girl to her room.

“Khushi, listen to me…” she said in a low tone.

Khushi looked at her.

“Vinesh is not a nice guy”

Khushi frowned.

“I’m Akshara… his victim”

“Means?”

“He is not a multimillionaire. He is working for Rich people. If any rich man likes a girl, Vinesh marries her. The girl’s first night will happen not with Vinesh but with the rich man who likes the girl. They won’t stop with that. Many Rich guys would be ready to throw lakhs for her. They would make her sleep with all of them. The girl’s life would get spoilt. It’s his business…”

“I can’t believe this…” Khushi said horrified.

“Did he say he would give some percentage to your brother?”

Khushi nodded yes.

“This is how he covers up people. He would show he is deeply in love with the girl”

“But, he took me to his company”

“It’s not his company… just enquire… it would be someone's company who wants to have you on his bed”

Khushi gulped down hard.

“Don’t trust him. he is a beast. Make your brother understand him and escape from him. if he marries you, he will send you to someone and get money. He is the cheapest guy I have ever seen. He didn’t even know the alphabet of mercy… he would do anything for money. Trust me. his hands are not just all over India… his men are in some other countries too…”

“I will trust you if you do what I say”

“What do you want me to do?”

Khushi told her what she wanted her to do. Akshara nodded no delightedly.

“I was so scared about you and worried as well. I thought you would break down, knowing the true colour of Vinesh. Thank God, you are not fond of him. He should be rot in hell”

“We will make him rot in hell” Khushi said gritting her teeth.

“Yeah, sure…”

“You don’t call me. I will call you”

“Ok… I will be waiting for your call”

“But, no change in today’s plan”

“Ok… I will be there”

Akshara took her leave. Khushi thought about Vinesh. What a scam…! How foolish Akash was! How did he agree to the wedding without inquiring about Vinesh? How blind he was…! Vinesh should be punished. If Akshara implemented her plan, it would happen for sure.

 

Evening

“Amma, I want to go to Temple,” Khushi said.

“Shall I come?”

“I have no problem if you come but you should not hurry to see your daily soaps”

“Will you be late?”

“I will attend HARTI”

“Oh, then you go…”

Khushi left GH. Her eyes waved, looking for someone. She sighed in relief when she saw NK at the street corner.

She went to the temple and saw Akshara waiting for her. She gestured for her to wait. Akshara nodded ok. As she expected, Arnav came to the temple.

Khushi rolled her eyes seeing Arnav as if she was irritated. She went to him and asked,

“Are you following me? Why are you coming everywhere I go?”

This time, Aman spoke on behalf of Arnav.

“Madam, this temple is not your property. Anyone would come here to worship God”

“Who are you? How many of you will give him dubbing just because his throat is injured…?”

“Why are you so interested to hear his voice, Madam?”

“Me and interested to hear his voice? He is Kishor Kumar… I wanted to hear his voice…” She mocked.

While talking, Khushi kept on glancing at Arnav who had a constant smile on his face.  

“Look, I’m not here to fight with you. I came here to worship God… don’t annoy me” She went before Devi Maiya.

Arnav was supposed to follow her, but Akshara stopped him by approaching him.

“One minute… please don’t trouble her… she is already in trouble. Poor girl…” She said.

Arnav and Aman spared a glance.

“Trouble? What trouble?” Aman asked.

Akshara elaborated on everything about Vinesh. Arnav and Aman were shocked to the core. Was Vinesh that bad? They looked at Khushi who was praying to DM closing her eyes sincerely. She left the temple as if she didn’t notice them talking to Akshara.
