Part 30 The Touch

In the meanwhile,

Akash was thinking about something. Garima handed him a cup of coffee and asked,

“What are you thinking?”

“It’s been three days Arnav challenged me. He has not made any move yet. I’m thinking about it”

“He promised not to talk to Khushi. Then, how can he do anything?” Garima asked mockingly.

“No, Amma. You don’t know him. He looks soft but powerful by heart. He will not give up easily and try from every direction to get Khushi”

“How will you stop him?”

“I should talk to Vinesh about fixing the wedding quickly”

“Will he do it?”

“He will have to do it if he wants to marry Khushi”

“Ask him to make it faster. Then only we will get money. Otherwise, all our plans will go in vain. We can’t console Khushi with any reason if she gets to know the truth” Garima said.

Akash nodded yes.

In the Coffee shop

Khushi was observing Arnav without his knowledge. She wanted Arnav to say who he was in any way if not by words.  Though she didn’t care about the challenge made by Akash she didn’t wish Arnav to lose the challenge. At the same time, she tried to teach a lesson to Akash, Garima and Vinesh for playing with her life.

She expected Arnav to make a move that would tell her who he was. That was why she was provoking Arnav’s anger by talking with Vinesh sweetly and smilingly.

As she expected, Arnav’s ears let out smoke, seeing her talking to Vinesh so casually.

That was when Vinesh got a call. He saw the caller and his facial expression changed. He disconnected the call and grinned at Khushi while putting his mobile on silent mode.

“Shall we go?” He asked.

“Pay the bill. I will come, finishing the coffee” Khushi said sipping the coffee.

Vinesh nodded ok and went to the counter. Khushi intentionally waited until he reached the counter. Then she followed him. Arnav who waited for her to come close to his table, stood up. Khushi jerked and moved back. Arnav clutched her hand and pulled her towards him, making her stun. He circled her waist with a piercing gaze when she hit his chest. Khushi’s eyes instantly tear up as she felt his TOUCH. Though she knew he was HER Arnav, his touch was a powerful move made by him to identify him. She managed herself before Arnav read her face. She came out of his arms by pushing him slightly. She intentionally looked at him with no expression on her face that disappointed Arnav. Without looking at him, she walked hurriedly.

Arnav stood looking at her gulping down. He thought she would recognise his touch but seeing her so casually, he was scared. He followed her out with NK. Khushi stopped clutching the car knob and looked at him who tried to read something from her face. She got inside the car. She smiled at Vinesh who looked a little nervous.

“Are you all right?” She asked.

“Of course, I’m so happy as I’m with you and you are happy with me”

Khushi smiled. Vinesh dropped Khushi at GH.

“Bye, Khushi…”

“Come inside and have something”

“That’s ok, Khushi. Will come tomorrow. I have to go now”

Khushi nodded ok and went inside. She saw Akash and Garima in the living room. She smiled at them.

“How was your coffee date?” Akash asked.

“It was fine… but an idiot spoilt my mood”

“Idiot? Who was that?”

“Who knows?” She didn’t say I DON’T KNOW.

“What did he do?”

“He gazed at me like he would swallow me anytime,” She said with fake anger.

Akash and Garima looked at each other contently.

“You know how furious I became…? He ogled at me…”

“You should have told Vinesh about him”

“I did… but he didn’t want me to fight with them”

“Did you fight with them?”

“Then what? Do you want me to let him ogle at me? I would have beaten them up if Arnav had not stopped me”

“But why did you behave so?”

“One of them ogled at me and another made fun of me… how could I be quiet?” She asked showing anger on her face.

“Did they tell you anything?”

“Yes, they did. One of them looked like a cartoon. He called another one NANNAV” Khushi said, reading Akash’s face that changed horribly.

“Nananv? What name is that?” Garima asked frowning her face.

“How do I know? I too didn’t know what it meant” Khushi said, leaning on the sofa.

“Did they say anything?”

“Only the cartoon spoke to me. Nananv didn’t.”

Akash huffed in relief.

“You know why? It’s because his throat is injured…”

Akash was silent.

“Do you how?”

Akash looked at her without answering.

“His throat got injured in the same way Arnav’s throat was injured… a big pipe fell on his throat it seems… it’s unbelievable…”

“what’s there not to believe?”

“That accident happened in the chemical plant… that’s what I can’t believe because Arnav’s accident also happened in the chemical plant. Right?”

“Don’t think much about them. Forget them. Go to your room and take a rest” Akash said not showing his nervousness.

Khushi nodded ok and went to her room. she closed the door and pretended like, locking it. She stood near the door and overheard them.

“Was that him?” Garima asked.

‘Yes, the one with Arnav is NK. He always calls him Nananv”

“Thank God, he didn’t talk to Khushi”

“But, we can’t be relaxed. He reached her and made her note him too. We don’t know what his plan is…”

“what are you going to do now?”

“I should talk to Vinesh” Removing his mobile, he called Vinesh. He attended the call.

“Hi, Akash…”

“Vinesh, Arnav is back”

“whaaaat?” He pressed the break. The car stopped making a screeching sound.

“Didn’t a guy fuss with Khushi in the coffee shop?”

“Yes… is he Arnav?”

“Yes… “

“But, how do you know he is Arnav?”

“Khushi just told us about them… he challenged me that he would be with Khushi before Monday”

Vinesh gripped his phone.

“It will not happen. I know what to do. I will finish him”

“Vinesh, please don’t do anything that creates a problem. Khushi should not know anything. That’s Important. If Khushi gets to know the truth, she will even kill herself but won’t agree to marry you”

Vinesh rolled his eyes.

Khushi who heard him saying that tightened his jaws. Even after knowing her mindset, how dare Akash want to fix her marriage with Vinesh…!

“Fix your wedding as soon as possible. That’s what you have to do”

“Ok… I will do it… but, why didn’t he talk to Khushi when he met her?”

“I challenged him not to…”

“Really?” he chuckled.

“Yes… I asked him to prove his love”

“Did he accept the challenge?”

“Yes…”

“How fool he is…!”

“No, Vinesh. Don’t underestimate him. He is not a fool. He will make others fool. Today, he did something to make her look at him…”

“But, Khushi fought with him. She didn’t identify him”

“As of now, she didn’t… but we can’t say she will never…”

“Today, she spoke to me so nicely…”

“It’s because she thinks you are Aranv”

“Ok… I will take the issue seriously”

“Ok…”

Vinesh disconnected the call thoughtfully.

At the same time, Vinesh received another call. He rolled his eyes and attended it with annoyance.

“Why the hell are you calling me again and again?” He asked.

“Don’t you even like to talk to me?” A girl's voice asked.

“What’s there to talk to you?”

“There is a lot to talk to you, Vinesh…! Didn’t you plead with me to talk to you a few days ago?”

“Stop your boring talks. Why did you call me?”

“I want to tell you that I’m pregnant with your child,” She said making him shocked.
