Part 22 Confession (Bonus Update)

Arnav and NK headed home. Aman didn’t leave the hospital. He waited. He saw Akash coming out of the room. he turned his face opposite to him. They went to Khushi. She stood up from the chair and walked before them. It showed how disinterested she was. Aman smiled. He saw the doctor going to Vinesh’s room. This was what he waited for. He followed the doctor, giving him enough space. As usual, he stood outside Vinish’s room.

“Why did you call me, uncle?” the doctor asked.

“Prajan, we would like to leave the hospital”

“Is your drama over?” he smiled.

“Yes, we are going to fix Vinesh’s wedding with Khushi”

“That’s great. It seems you made her trust you are her boyfriend”

“I think no”

“Why?”

“She still not convinced”

“But why? We said he lost his voice in the accident. That’s why his voice changed. Didn’t she believe it?”

“She is wavering. She could not accept his new transformation. His new name, new voice, new status… she is struggling…”

“Don’t her brother and mother try to convince her?”

“They are trying their level best but nothing is working”

“Make sure they are doing the job you paid for them… it’s not a simple thing to get five per cent of Chopra and company’s shares and the manager post,”

“He will do it. He won’t give up easily… and, I too will not give up on Khushi”

Aman took back steps and moved away as he collected the needed detail.

Arnav was pacing here and there restlessly, as Aman was getting late. He called Aman but he didn’t attend the call as he was riding the bike.

Stopping the bike, Aman came in. Arnav rushed to him.

“Aman, where is Khushi?”

“She is in Mumbai only. She didn’t go anywhere. Whatever Akash and his mother told about Khushi is a pure lie”

“How did you know? Who said? Did you meet Khushi?”

“I didn’t meet her but saw her… She is still YOUR Khushi. But, her wedding fixed…”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“According to her, her wedding is going to happen with you… I mean, with ARNAV”

“I didn’t get you”

“They made her believe Vinesh Chopra is Arnav Singh Raizada”

“Whaaaat? But how is it possible?”

“Sit…”

Arnav looked at him restlessly.

“Listen to this” he played the recording.

Arnav heard what Khushi said about his name and her love. Arnav smiled having tears in his eyes and happiness in his heart. He laughed like a mad.

“Didn’t I tell you about my Khushi? I know her. She is not like her brother. I had seen it in her eyes. She might have been visually impaired but her eyes spoke to me. I felt her love in her touch. She showered love on me with her words. She is my angel” Arnav said in between his smiles.

“But, Ammu, why did Akash and his mother agree to the sensitive drama?” NK asked.

“They are not doing this for free… Akash is a five per cent partner of Chopra and company…”

“Whaaaat?”

“Not only that, he is the manager of their company now”

“So, Akash is doing things for money and manager post”

“Exactly”

“Akash should have shivered to see Nananv in Mumbai because it’s about money and job” NK chuckled.

“He will die if ASR goes to his new house” Aman laughed.

“I can’t understand one thing. Is Akash that cheap guy who degrades his own sister to that extent? Didn’t he say cheap about Khushi? How did he get the courage to lie about his sister’s character? Poor Khushi, she is so unlucky to have such a brother and mother” NK said feeling sad.

“Yes, she is very unlucky. But, I’m sure. Akash and his mother would have lost their sleep after seeing Arnav. That’s why they changed the house. Until Khushi is unmarried, they can’t even eat anything peacefully… because they would fear every second that Arnav can go in front of Khushi anytime”

“Then, let’s frighten him,” Said Arnav.

Aman and NK looked at him stunned.

“What do you mean Arnav?”

“How would Akash feel if I went in front of him every day? How would he feel if I keep on HINTING Khushi that the man with her is not ARNAV?”

“But, why ASR? Why should we risk? We can just finish the issue with your ONE WORD. Just call her name. Everything will come to an END. She will recognise your voice and she will take care of the remaining”

“Of course, I will call her name… but not now.”

“But why?”

“How dare Akash lie to me? How dare he bring Khushi to Mumbai and arrange her wedding? He is doing everything for money, right? He thinks he has won. Just think, what would have happened if we hadn’t found him? I would have lost MY Khushi. Do you know how I felt when I got to know Guptas vanished from Goa? I was literally died when he said Khushi went to Kandala with a guy. I’m not going to leave them. They should pay back for betraying me, for lying about Khushi and for cheating Khushi”

“Are you going to keep Khushi in confusion?”

“I’m going to make her more confused”

“What are you going to do?”

“I’m going to meet Akash when he is with Khushi” he smirked.

“Then, let’s go”

Taking the new address, Arnav went there to meet Akash with Aman and NK. Aman rang the calling bell. Khushi was the one who opened the door.

“Yes?”

“I want to meet Akash,” Aman said casually.

“Akash… someone is here to meet you” Khushi called him.

Akash came out and was horrified to see Aman who grinned at him. Garima was shocked to see the same man who was with Arnav the previous day.

“Who is she?” Asked Aman.

Khushi looked at him.

“Tell me, Akash”

“She is my sister”

“How many sisters do you have?” Aman asked, pretending like thinking.

“Didn’t you say your sister went to…”

“No, it’s just… come out… we will talk…” Akash walked, pushing Aman with him.

He locked the door from outside. He sweated badly to see Arnav also there.

“ASR, his sister is at the house only,” Aman said.

“You said she went to Kandala with her boyfriend…” Arnav asked.

“The program cancelled”

“Oh... I came here to return something to you.”

“What are you going to give me?”

“Khushi gifted me something on my birthday… according to Khushi, it’s a very precious one… your father’s watch”

Akash was dumbfounded. Watch? If Khushi saw the watch in Vinesh’s hand, she would trust Vinesh that he was Arnav. his mind calculated fast.  

“Give it to me…”

“Of course. I came to give it to you but Khushi is here. Now, I will give it to her directly”

“Nooo…”

“Whyyyy?”

“She won’t like to meet you”

“Let her tell that”

“Arnav, listen to me. She won’t mind insulting you”

“I don’t care if she insults me… after all, my love for her is true… I still love her. She has the right to scold me and insult me. She can even hit me, yaar…”

“Arnav, but I can’t bear that”

“See, how concerned he is…!” Arnav said with a fake sadness.

“Do one thing, Nananv… Akash will be here with us. You go inside and give the watch to Khushi. Then Akash will not see her insulting you” Aman said.

“No no…. please”

“Why are you scared, Akash? Relax. Who knows, your sister may change her mind, seeing ASR. What say?”

“Yeah, you are right, Aman. Khushi has many good qualities. She may change her mind if she sees me”

Arnav walked to the house. Akash pushed Aman and NK and came in front of Arnav. he blocked his watch.

“No… don’t go…”

“Why? Your sister is ready to marry someone. She has forgotten me. She will even insult me. And, I'm ready to bear that. Then, what’s your problem? I will leave Mumbai returning the watch to her and will BREAK UP our relationship officially”

“Please don’t do that”

“Why?”

“Khushi didn’t forget you. we lied to her. We made her believe that Vinesh Chopra is YOU… I mean, she trusts Vinesh is Arnav”

Arnav folded his hand with a sharp gaze.
